Artemida Kreposti

The North's capitol is somewhere between Acheron and Shimura's Reach. It is much like the floating pieces of rock around it, but it does have one discerning feature. Instead of cities being built onto the rock, the capitol is built into the rock. The North's capitol is only home to the current Lord of the North, his/her family, and his/her guards. It is well-hidden in clouds, and it is also constantly moving. Inside the capitol, it is truly just one large fortress. It has bland, reinforced walls. The floors match the walls, and the cieling matches the floor. It has a massive central atrium with a thick window-like floor that cuts down the middle of both the top and bottom of the capitol rock. There are not many guest bedrooms, as most have been turned into storage for the guards and for the Lord of the North. Not many of the rooms are occupied, but they are generally not suited for conversion to a bedroom.

Shimura's Reach

A place few people will ever see. Shimura's Reach is not a single building on the side of a mountain for her to retire in. Nay, it is an entire mountain. The tallest mountain in the Sugiura lands was hollowed out and a fortress was built inside. It is impossible for the fortress to collapse upon itself as there is no gravity within the spaces between walls, but the walls themselves have specialized gravity fields that keep them in place even if they break. There is a lavish throne room for Shimura that contains numerous observational systems that allows for her to keep watch on her land. It has bunkers in case the Sugiura Royal Family is ever threatened to the point that their body guards could not handle it.
